Indo-Heritage is already started the preliminary works for an International Airport to be erected in Central Travancore, from where Kerala has a large number of NRIs working across the globe. It was a constant demand from the NRIs and NRKs working in and out of India for an Airport in Central Travancore to have easy conveyance and convenience travel. The proposed project will gear up the developmental arena of the Pathanamthitta, Kollam, Kottayam, Alappuzha and Idukki districts. It is looking for zero humane, environmental, cultural and social inflicted and affected land for the project. The company has started functioning in Kerala though its administrative office at opposite to the District Collectorate in Pathanamthitta. The company has identified three plots for the project which are less affective to the inhabitants and social system there. Unlike Aranmula Airport Project, we are very particular in protecting and promoting the ecology, culture, heritage and social system.

We have already started a preliminary survey to prepare “Prefeasibility Study Report” by AECOM, the largest Airport Consultancy in the world. (The same consultancy of Kannur Airport project). The “Site Selection Report”, the first part of “Prefeasibility Study” is completed and this report is already submitted to Shri. Pinarayi Vijayan, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Kerala for ‘In-Principle Approval’ of the project from the State Government.

Recently we have also started preliminary discussions with all political leaders in Kerala and all sections of people in Pathanamthitta and Kottayam districts, for this new mass venture and the feedback from them are also overwhelming and highly encouraging and we expect the fullest support from all political parties in Kerala, as well.
